Overview

Hallam Land has successfully invested in communities throughout the UK for over 30 years, delivering high quality, sustainable development and new communities.

A process of public consultation is being undertaken by Hallam Land in order to present the emerging development proposal for Land North of Crawley Road, Cranfield to the local community. We are proposing a new residential development of up to 150 homes, together with new green infrastructure and public open space.

The purpose of this consultation process is to outline the details of the draft scheme and seek comments from the local community. Hallam Land is seeking feedback on its proposals to help inform the future for the site, which can feed into further planning proposals.

Why Cranfield?

Cranfield is a large and vibrant village, with a population of over 5,300 people, offering a range of services and facilities including schools, shops and football club – in close proximity to Cranfield University, Technical Park and Cranfield Airport, where new investment is planned. The village lies just 6 kilometres north of Milton Keynes, connected by frequent bus  services. In planning terms, it is considered a highly sustainable location for development.

Historically, Cranfield grew towards Crawley Road and Bourne End Road, a trend which Hallam’s scheme aligns with on what is a visually well-contained and enclosed site.
